Green Beans and New Potatoes

Ingredients
2 1/2 lbs Fresh Green Bean (8 cups) snapped1 1/2 lbs Small New Potatoes (5 cups) diced1 c Onion diced3 Bacon Slices diced, cooked, drainedextra chopped onion if desired
Directions
Wash and snap beans in bite size pieces. Place in a dutch oven cover with water and onion bring to a boil. Boil 12 minutes.

Wash new potaoes and dice if needed. Add to boiling beans. Boil another 15-17 minutes.

Now dice and cook bacon while soup boils. Drain bacon on paper towel.

Drain reserving 1 1/2 cus of water. Pour water and milk back over beans, stir.

Serve with crumbled bacon on top and more diced onion if prefered.
