Oat Bran and Banana Muffins

Ingredients
3/4 c. all purpose flour1/2 c. whole wheat flour1 c. oat bran1/4 c. white sugar1/4 c. brown sugar1/2 tsp. cinnamon1 tbsp baking powder1/2 tsp salt3/4 c. nonfat milk1/4 stick butter1/8 c. unsweetened applesauce2 egg whites1 tsp vanilla2 ripe bananas, peeled, smashed1/2 c. pecans
Directions
Preheat oven to 400*F. Grease twelve muffin cups or line with paper muffin cups. Combine first 8 ingredients in large bowl. Whisk milk, butter, applesauce, egg whites, vanilla to blend in medium bowl. Add milk mixture to dry ingredients, stirring until just combined. Mix in bananas and pecans. Divide batter among prepared muffin cups. Bake until toothpick inserted into centers of muffins comes out clean, about 20 minutes. Transfer to rack to cool
