Ingredients
1Cup of sorted and washed pinto beans1 tsp of salt1 Quart of water
Directions
After sorting and washing beans...
Bring 1 Quart of water to rolling boil. Stir in 1 cup of rinsed beans and bring back to boil. Reduce heat, boiling gently low-medium, until beans are tender, 2-3 hours. During the last 1/2 hour of cooking, add 1 tsp of salt.
***You will need to add hot water as water evaporates during cooking process***
