Caramelized Pear Rice Pudding with Plum Wine reduction

Ingredients
3 cups sliced fresh pears50 g butter2 cups sweet wine4 cups cooked brown rice4 medium eggs1/2 Cup sugar1T vanilla
Directions
Melt butter in a large skillet. Add pears and cook on high until caramelized on both sides. Remove pears and de-glaze pan with wine. Reduce wine until about 1/3 cup.
Mix eggs, milk suger and vanilla. Mix in rice.
In the bottom of a large baking dish pour wine reduction and spead pears. Pour milk and mice mixture over and bake at 350 degrees for 1 - 1 1/2 hours.
