Glazed Fruit Kabobs

Ingredients
2 fresh nectarines, cut into 12 wedges3 fresh plums, quartered½ fresh pineapple, peeled and cut into 2 inch cubes¼ cup packed brown sugar (or 2 Tbsp brown sugar blend Splenda)¾ tsp rum extract 2 Tbsp water1½ tsp cornstarch
Directions
Alternate fruit on skewers. Combine brown sugar, rum extract, water and cornstarch in small saucepan. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Cook until thick and clear. Place skewers in shallow pan, brush with glaze mixture*. Place skewers on grid over medium coals, about 5 inches from heat. Grill 6-8 minutes or until hot, turning once. Brush occasionally with glaze mixture.
Makes 4 servings
*Cover and refrigerate overnight, if desired
