Crockpot Chicken Stroganoff

Ingredients
1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breast1 c. fat free sour cream1/2 c. 1% milk1 packet onion soup mix16 ounces fresh mushrooms, sliced
Directions
Spray inside of crockpot with cooking spray and place chicken breasts inside. Layer mushrooms over top of chicken breasts.

In a bowl, mix together the sour cream, milk, and soup mix. Pour over top of chicken and mushrooms. Cook for 6-8 hours on low.

Serve over rice or noodles.

*You can bake this in the oven at 350 degrees for 1 hour instead.

    Maybe I didn't mix it well enough but the onion soup mix just clumped up all over the chicken... probably won't try it again, but the chicken was good. - 7/25/09

    The directions advise to combine the onion soup mix with the sour cream and milk and then pour it over the chicken. That should prevent any clumping.
