Summer Savory Ground Beef Hash

Ingredients
1 lb. ground beef or turkey1 onion1 zucchini1 28 oz. can of diced tomatoes1.5 cups minute brown rice2 tsp. summer savory1 tbsp. garlic powderdash of: celery salt, pepper, cardamom
Directions
let onion and zucchini sit in bottom of stock pot for about 3 minutes on medium high heat. Add in ground beef. Cook until ground beef has browned. Add spices. Add tomatoes. Turn the heat up, let it boil. Add rice. Cover, and lower heat to about medium and cook until rice is done.

Note: If you use a higher fat content beef, you need to strain it before you add the tomatoes, otherwise, you'll have too much liquid, and besides, that liquid is almost all fat!
