Cucumber-Avocado Shake
- Number of Servings: 2
Ingredients
Directions
1 medium-sized banana5 slices of peeled cucumber1/4 to 1/3 of a ripe avocado1 probiotic yogurt drink (~100g)2 tsp honey* 2 tsp low-fat cottage cheese* milk, vanilla milk, or soy milk* optional ingredients
No cooking required. My sister taught me this recipe, it makes a good breakfast and with the addition of a probiotic yogurt drink, helps increase your resistance to sickness as well. It also has a really infamous green colour and thick texture so you can scare people when you drink it. Tastes fantastic, though!
Chuck everything together in your blender and blend until smooth. If it's too thick, add a little milk (or milk substitute). If it's too thin, add a little cottage cheese. If it's not sweet enough, add a little more honey.
Very filling and very yummy, this sweet shake makes a great breakfast!
