Chewy Oatmeal Chip Cookies

Ingredients
Smart Balance Buttery Spread, 8 tbsp Applesauce, unsweetened, .67 cup *Splenda Brown Sugar Blend, 36 tsp Granulated Sugar, .33 cup Molasses, blackstrap, 4 tbsp Egg, fresh, 2 large Vanilla Extract, 1 tbspWheat flour, white, all-purpose, enriched, calcium-fortified, 1.25 cup 1 scoop of Genisoy Soy Protein PowderHodgson Mill Hot Oat Bran, .25 cup dryInstant, Quick, and Regular Oats Cereal, 2.5 cup, dry, yields Raisins, .75 cup, packed Semisweet chocolate, .5 cup large chips
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease cookie sheets.

In a large bowl, cream together the butter, applesauce, brown sugar and white sugar until light and fluffy. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well with each addition, then stir in the vanilla. Combine the flour, salt, and baking soda, then gradually stir into the creamed mixture.

Finally, stir in the oats, raisins, nuts and chocolate chips. Drop by rounded spoonfuls onto the prepared cookie sheet.

Bake for 8 to 10 minutes in the preheated oven. Allow cookies to cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes before removing to a wire rack to cool completely.
