Spaghetti Sauce

Ingredients
1/4 pound mild Italian Sausage1 can tomato sauce1 medium onion, diced1 small green bell pepper, diced1 clove garlic, minced2 tbsp. brown sugar1 tsp oregano1 tsp salt1 tsp pepper1 bay leaf1 cup diced fresh mushrooms1/2 cup red wine (optional)2 tbsp vegetable oil
Directions
Cook sausage, onion, garlic and bell pepper in vegetable oil, dicing sausage into pieces while cooking. Drain oil and fats. Add everything else and simmer for at least 1 hour (or longer- the longer the better). Remove bay leaf before serving.
