Orange Cabbage Slaw

Ingredients
1/2 head of purple cabbage.5 cup shredded carrots (you can use as much as you'd like. that's all I had.).25 cup slivered almonds 1 Tbsp orange zest1/2 of orange dicedDressingJuice of 1/2 orange1 Tbsp olive oil1 Tbsp apple cider vinegar1 Tbsp honey2 Tbsp white sugar1 tsp ground ginger
Directions
You can use a food processor and shred the cabbage and the carrots. Mix in the orange zest and almonds.

For the dressing combine all of the ingredients in a separate bowl.

Mix the solids and the liquids and enjoy!!

    My family enjoyed this dish. I did add a sprinkle of slivered almonds for protein and flavor. - 9/2/09
