2 heads cabbage 4ponds lean ground beef 7cups rice (3.5 cups minute rice used raw is best ) 2 cans tomatoes 1 can tomatoe soup 1 onion chopped dash salt 1 tsp. black pepper
boil cabbage to soften and seperate leafs . Mix ground beef , rice , chopped onion , tomatoe soup , salt and pepper together.Roll spoonful of mixture in a cabbage leaf and place in large roasting pan .When done pour can tomatoes on top cover and cook in oven . 325 deg. for about 2 hours .May need to add water or tomatoe juice so they stay moist while cooking . Makes about 48 rolls
