Boil water. Put 2 teaspoons of unsweetened cocoa powder in a mug. Pour boiling water (approx 12 oz) into cup, and add sweetener.
Variations include adding cinnamon, vanilla extract, creamer, and/or cool whip to cocoa. Can also use soymilk/milk/almond breeze instead of water.
Note: The quality of the cocoa powder makes a huge(!!!) difference. So far, I have tried this with different types of unsweetened cocoa powder. Hershey's made the worst-tasting cocoa. Ghiradelli's was also pretty bad. I recommend Green & Black's organic unsweetened cocoa or Nestle Toll House cocoa powder.
