Seared Ahi Tuna with teriyaki soy glaze

4 oz Ahi Tuna1 cup spinachSeasame seeds (just enough to coat the tuna)Olive oil (for cooking)Black pepper to taste2tbs teriyaki sauce1tbs soy saucegarlic (to taste)green onioncilantro lime
Makes 1 serving
Let the tuna sit out for about 20 min. after you take it out of the fridge. On a plate spread out the seasame seeds and add just enough black pepper to taste. Coat the tuna in the seasame seeds. Bring a pan to a medium-high heat. Add a little bit of olive oil, when it starts to barely smoke add the tuna. Cook about a minute and a half on each side.
Combine the teriyaki and soy sauce and garlic in a pot over medium heat. Let the sauce thicken to a consistancy of your liking. Add the cilantro, green onion, and lime juice, Stir.
Serve on a bed of fresh spinach with the tuna sliced and drizzle the sauce on top.
