Pastry:8 cups flour2 tsp. Salt2 cups Crisco (shortening)Filling:1.5 lbs. lean ground beef4 lbs. potatoes, diced4 med - lg Onions, Chopped
Make dough and divide into 12 to 14 sections.
Prepare vegs.
Roll out dough, in center of dough place a small amount of meat and about 1 cup of potatoes and onions (mixed) Fold dough over filling and seal.
Place pasties on baking tray and bake at 350 degrees F. until vegs. are tender and dough in nicely browned (about 30 minutes).
Makes 12 to 14 servings.
