chicken barley soup

Ingredients
1 cooked boneless chicken breastVegetable Broth, 4 cup Spinach, frozen, 1 package (10 oz) *Tomato products, Hunts Diced Tomatoes w/celery, onions, peppers -1 canBarley, pearled, raw, .5 cup
Directions
Put chicken, broth, tomatoes and barley in a pot. Bring to a boil. Cover and simmer for 50 minutes. Add frozen spinach and cook for 10 mins. more. Add seasoning to taste. I lie to add hot pepper flakes.

    I added a bag of mixed veggies instead of the spinach, extra barley and used chicken broth, it made a stew like meal with much more than 5 servings but it was good and thanks for the idea! - 1/15/09
