2 tbsp miso paste2 tbsp water2 tbsp margarine1/4 cup flour3 cups vegetable broth1 tbsp soy sauce1 tbsp nutritional yeast1 tsp black pepper1 tsp cornstarch dissolved in 1 tbsp water (optional)
Dissolve 2 T miso in 2 T warm water. In a skillet in medium low heat, add the flour and margarine and mix together. Then add the miso, vegetable broth, soy sauce, nutritional yeast, and pepper. Stir frequently while the mixture cooks and thickens. For thicker gravy, add the tsp of cornstarch dissolved in a tbsp of water - this is completely optional.
