Turkey Noodle Soup

Ingredients
1 pound ground turkey1 C chopped carrots4 T diced shallots1/2 C chopped celery2-3 garlic cloves, chopped or pressed1 T sage1 bay leaf8 C chicken broth or stock3 C water1 package Amish Whole Wheat Noodlessalt and pepper to taste
Directions
Begin browning turkey in large pot or dutch oven. Add chopped carrot, shallots, celery, and garlic. Cook 10 minutes or until meat is no longer pink. Add sage, bay leaf, water, and chicken broth. Bring to boil. Add noodles and follow cooking directions on package. Serve when the noodles are desired tenderness.
