Ingredients
Quaker Oats 100% Natural Whole Grain oatmeal, 3.5 cup Protein Fuel, Twinlab 100% Whey Protein, 4 scoopsSyrup-Sunny Acres Low Carb Sugar Free, 1 cup Egg white, 2 serving, slightly beaten Welch's 100% Orange Juice, 2 ouncesVanilla Extract, 1 tsp Applesauce, sweetened, .25 cup
Directions
Preheat oven to 325. Spray a 9x13 baking dish with non-stick spray. Mix oats and protein powder in a bowl and blend well. In a separate bowl combine egg whites, orange juice, applesauce, and vanilla. Stir liquid mixture into dry and blend well. Mixture will be like cookie dough. Spread in pan and bake until edges are brown, about 25 minutes. Cut into 14 bars. Store in airtight container or freeze. I place one bar each in a snack baggie and store all 14 baggies in a large ziploc freezer bag in the freezer. (for moister bars use 1/2 cup of applesauce)

    Perfect for what we needed - a low-calorie, high-protein snack. Not the tastiest, but that's not what they're for :)
    I find that adding an extra egg white helps the bars stay together better without increasing the calories too much. - 10/9/09
