Steel-Cut Oat Porridge

Ingredients
1/4 cup steel cut oats1/2 cup water 3/4 teaspoon blackstrap molasses, optional 1/2 teaspoon brown sugar1 Tablespoon crushed pineapple with juice1/8 teaspoon cinnamon water to prevent sticking
Directions
In a saucepan, combine oats, water, molasses and brown sugar.
Bring to a boil.
Stir in pineapple and cinnamon.
Cover, reduce heat and simmer for 20-30 minutes, stirring often and adding additional water if necessary to prevent sticking.
Cook until water is absorbed and oats are cooked.
