Cream of Broccoli Soup w/ ham

Ingredients
2 bunches broccoli1/2 cup extra lean diced ham4 cups (large can) chicken broth 99% fat free1/2 large onion diced2 medium potatoes diced1/2 cup sliced carrots (canned)1 1/2 cups (large can) cream of chicken soup 99% fat free1/2 cup skim milk1/4 cup flour1/4 tsp Mrs. Dash1/4 tsp ground pepper1/4 tsp garlic powder3 bay leaves
Directions
In large pot boil broccoli, potatoes, and onion in 2 quarts water for 20 mins. Meanwhile, in a large pot whisk together chicken broth and cream of chicken soup. Add all spices and ham to this mixture. Strain the vegetables and add to the mixture. Bring to a slow boil. In a small bowl whisk milk and flour together until smooth and stir into the slowly boiling soup. Simmer for 10-15 mins. Makes approximately 8 1-cup servings.
