Whiting chowder

Ingredients
Broccoli, frozen, 1 package (10 oz) *Creamed Corn, 2 cup Whiting (fish), 3 fillet Capers, canned, 125 grams Sage, ground, .5 tsp Pepper, black, 1 tsp Sour Cream, 2 cup *Campbell's low sodium chicken broth, 4 cup *Lemon Juice, .5 fl oz
Directions
Add all the ingredience, exept the sour cream, to the slow cooker and turn on high. Let cook for about 2 hours and turn to low.

Just before serving add the sour cream and mix in.

We ate it just like that. It could be served over rice or potatoes.

    I am very interested in this recipe, but need more specifics. Should the fish be totally cooked and flaky after the 2 hours on high, and how long do you keep it on low in cp? - 1/26/18

    I think this would be a good base for other crockpot chowders, with some modifications. The capers were really strong and combined with the whiting it was really overwhelming. I liked the idea of serving it over potatoes and using creamed corn. Next time I'll use tilapia and leave out the capers. - 11/5/09
