really good. Celery is really limp this time of year so I substituted frozen kernel corn for that layer. Was really good. Next time I would make 1/2 as much dressing as the recipe calls for - 2/20/11

I was ready to find my mom's recipe for this, when I decided to search the site for any lighter versions. This turned out great! The red pepper (I used orange, it was on hand) adds a refreshing taste. I liked that it added in more veggies, we really enjoyed it, thanks for sharing! - 9/28/10

This is OK to be in the vegetarian section if you use the Baco's that are made with soy protein and not real bacon. They taste just as good and have a good shelf life and are lower in fat than using real bacon bits. - 11/15/08

Shouldn't be in the vegetarian recipe section (bacon bits!) - 11/15/08

This is a wonderful salad to share at potlucks and with family gatherings. My mom always made this when I was growing up- she used celery instead of carrots and omitted the eggs, but I like the color variety here! I've made this b4 and am making it for our Thanksgiving dinner at church this week! - 11/14/08
