Olive Oil, 2 tbsp Onions, raw, 2 cup, chopped Cumin powder, 1 tbsp Jalapeno Peppers, .5 pepperCarrots, raw, 1 cup, choppedCelery, raw, 2 stalk, medium (7-1/2" - 8" long) Lentils, 1.25 cup Garlic, 1 clove Salt, 1 tsp Water, 4.5 cups
Saute onions, peppers and cumin in oil for 10 minutes. Simmer the carrots and celery in the water for 20 minutes, add the cooked onion mixture and the lentils and simmer for 35 minutes more. Add the seasonings and serve.
