2 lbs Ground beef, browned and drained5 cups of water1 large onion, chopped4 stalks celery, chopped3 carrots sliced2 cans (14 1/2 oz each) diced tomatoes1 package (10 oz) frozen mixed vegetables5 tblsp beef base granules1/2 tsp pepper1/2 cup Butter melted1/2 cup all-purpose floursalt to taste
Place all the ingredients, except butter, flour and salt, in the crock pot. Cover. Cook on low for 8 to 12 hours or high for 4 to 6 hours. One hour before serving, make a paste of the melted butter and flour. Stir until smooth. Pour into crock pot and stir until well blended. Cook hight until thickened.
