Amanda's Chili

Ingredients
1 lb lean ground beef1 red onion1 green pepper1 tbsp fresh garlic1 largest can of diced tomatoes1 largest can of crushed tomatoeswater1 can light red kidney beans1 can black beans1 can chili beanschili powdercumin
Directions
cut onion and pepper into a 1/2 inch dice. saute over medium heat, add garlic. Brown the ground beef with onion, pepper, and garlic until beef is cooked. Put all the remaining ingredients into a crock pot or add to a large sauce pot, then add beef mixture. Cook for at least an hour, but it is better in the crock pot if you cook for 6 hours. :) Enjoy.

    It was great chili! I really enjoyed it and so did my friends and family. I chose the crock pot method and let it cook for about 6 1/2 hours. I estimated the amount of water, chili powder and cumin as the recipe was not specific. - 10/14/09
