My husband really loved this recipe. I found it very tasty although on the high end for caloires. I used my emulsion blender to mix the soups and I served with brown rice. - 1/13/10

Not the lightest item on the menu but very good and E-A-S-Y! I use 2 cans soup and a larger roast then cook on low for 8-10 hrs. Oh, be sure to combine the soup and mix before adding to the roast. My family loves this recipe. - 12/28/08

Very good taste. I added 3 large carrots and 4 Celery stalks to add some substance. Next time I plan to add mushrooms and onions. - 10/3/13

Delicious... I used smaller roast and .5 of lipton onion and roasted garlic packet. Also eliminated the noodles and made mashed potatoes since the gravy goes great with them. - 1/13/11

That is how I make it in the oven. This sounds like a much better way on a hot summer day. Thanks for the idea. - 8/26/09

Wow! That was delicious! I also seared it first, as mentioned in another comment. My husband and I were super skeptical since no water or broth was added. We cooked it on High for 4 hours and we were able to cut it with a spoon!!! - 7/1/09

I fixed this recipie this weekend and it turned out great. It sugguested on a different site to sear the meat before putting in the the crock pot. I did and it was absolutely the best roast ever. I also thickend the gravy with some corn starch once it was done. - 6/17/09

So easy. First thing I ever made in my crock pot. I say skip the noodles and add some red potatoes, onions, celery... other hearty veggies, but not til an hour or two before finished or they get very mushy. This meal is hearty but not particularly healthy. Also, quite salty, I think. - 5/3/09

Very good recipe for a cold, rainy day. I served the left overs with brown rice instead of the noodles and that was great too and less calories, I would think. - 3/7/09

Was excellent. My crockpot settings are low and high so had to move to high as meat took almost 8 hours to fall apart, but it was delicious and easy. - 1/25/09
