New-fashioned Bread Stuffing

Ingredients
1 c finely chopped celery4 Tb minced shallots1/2 c butter1 ts poultry seasoning or sage1/8 ts pepper8 c dry white wheat bread cubes3/4-1 c ff chicken broth
Directions
Saute veggies in butter till tender but not brown, remove from heat and stir in seasonings. Place bread in a large bowl with veggies, drizzle w//broth to moisten, tossing lightly. Bake in a buttered covered casserole at 350 40-45 minutes, removing lid last 20 minutes.
