Three or Four Bean Salad

Ingredients
1 can (15oz) kidney beans1 can (15 oz) green beans1 can (15 oz) yellow beans1 can (15 oz) chick peas1 cup chopped celery0.5 cup chopped onion0.5 cup chopped green pepper0.75 cup granulated sugar0.5 cup vinegar0.25 cup salad oil1 tsp. salt
Directions
Thoroughly drain beans. Combine the 3 -4 kinds of beans and add celery, onion and green pepper.
Thoroughly combine sugar, vinegar, oil and salt.
Pour over vegetables and chill over night.
Drain and serve in bowl.
May add more sugar and vinegar to taste.

Makes 8-10 servings.

    Just like mom used to make! A great go-to in hot weather. (I used less sugar. We did a 1/3 cup ea of oil, sugar, vinegar blend.) I used a bit of balsamic vinegar. - 6/29/13
