Turkey Wild rice soup

Ingredients
6 tbsp butter1/2 cup flour2 cup cooked wild rice-I use cooked canned rice1/2 cup chopped carrots1 cup half and half3 tbsp slivered almonds1 tsp minced onion2 cup chicken broth1/3 cup minced turkey cooked
Directions
Melt butter, saute onions until tender. Blend flour with broth with whisk ovre medium heat: add to butter and onions. Stir constantly until it boils 1 minute. Stir in rice, turkey, carrots and almonds. Simmer 5 minutes. Blend in half and half. Heat to serving temperature.
