QCSAHP - Super Sloppy Joes, Ground Beef

Ingredients
1 tablespoon oil, olive1 1/4 pounds Ground Beef 1/4 cup sugar, brown1 tablespoon Montreal Steak Seasoning 1/4 each Onion 1/2 each pepper, red bell1 tablespoon vinegar, red wine1 tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce2 cups Tomato Sauce2 tablespoons Tomato Paste
Directions
To Prepare for Group:
1. Heat a large skillet over medium high heat.
2. Add oil and meat to the pan.
3. Spread meat around the pan and begin to break it up.
4. Combine brown sugar and steak seasoning.
5. Add brown sugar and seasoning mixture to the skillet and combine.
6. When the meat has browned, add onion and peppers to the skillet.
7. Reduce heat to medium and add red wine vinegar and worcestshire sauce, cook for 5 minutes.
8. Add tomato sauce and paste to pan, stir to combine.
9. Reduce heat to simmer for 5 minutes longer.
10. Let sauce cool and place in gallon bag. Freeze flat.


Cooking Day:
1. Warm sloppy joe mixture in skillet until heated through.
2. Serve on toasted, buttered buns. Buns not provided.
