Spiced Poached Pears in Wine

8 small pears with stems1 cup of dry red wine1/2 - 1 cup of sugar substitute like Splenda (I use 1/2 cup but if you want it even sweeter go up to a cup.)1/2 cup prepared raspberry herbal tea made strong2 tsp vanilla2 - 3 whole cloves2 Tbsp of unprepared jello (gelatin) mix of any berry flavorsprinkle of cinammonsprinkle of ground cloves
Peel pears.
In saucepan add: wine, splenda, vanilla and whole cloves.
Prepare tea and add tea.
Add the pears
sprinkle cinammon and cloves
Simmer 20 minutes.
Remove pears and add 2 tbsp of berry flavored jello mix.
When the liquid starts to reduce add pears back and simmer again rolling pears til they take on a "pink" color.
Remove and Serve.
