Easy Crock Pot Chili

1 28 oz can of crushed tomatoes1 14.5 oz can of chili style diced tomatoes1/2 lb of lean ground meat, browned1 can of black beans, drained1/2 of a large onion, chopped1/2 of a bell pepper, chopped1 tbsp of chili powder1 tsp of cumin1/2 tsp of paprika1/4 tsp of garlic powder
First, place the meat in a pan and brown it, make sure to season with salt and pepper, and additional spices if desired.
In the mean time, chop up the vegetables. Saute the veggies in a pan until softened.
Place all ingredients in the crock pot and mix thoroughly. Put the crock pot on low and cook for a minimum of 4 hours, 6 or more hours is ideal.
I serve it with corn bread, low-fat sour cream, low-fat cheddar cheese, and chopped fresh onion .
Serves 4-5.
