Mariela's Lentil Soup

Ingredients
1 cup. Lentils1/2 cup Tomatoes, chopped1/4 cup Onions, chopped2 tbs Cilatro, chopped (optional)1 slice Turkey Bacon 1/2 tbs Olive OilAbout 4-5 cups of water.
Directions
1. Heat a sauce pan and add canola oil.
2. Add onions and tomato and cook for a 1 or so.
4. Add the turkey bacon and cook for another minute.
5. Add the lentils, water, and top with cilantro.
6. Simmer for about 40 -45 minutes or until done.

Makes about 4, 1 cup servings
