Cheesy Smashed Potatoes

Ingredients
2- 2 1/4 lbs yukon gold potatoes1/4 c. sour cream2 c shredded cheddar cheese3 tbsp chivessalt & pepper
Directions
Cut potatoes in half and place in pot. Cover with water and bring to a boil.
When water boils, add salt and boil for 10 minutes or until tender. Drain and return potatoes to the hot pot. Smash potatoes with a masher and combine with sour cream and cheese. Add chives, salt and pepper and resmash
