Ingredients
Directions
(2) Pillsbury Grands Biscuits, frozen(4) large eggs4 vegetarian sausage patties1 tsp. ground sage1/4 tsp. (or more) crushed red pepper flakes1 c. milk (whole used in nutritional info)1 T. white flour3/4 c. shredded cheddar cheeseSalt & Pepper to taste
Preheat oven. Bake biscuits according to directions while preparing remaining items.
In frying pan, crumble and brown vegetarian sausage. Whisk flour into milk and pour over browned sausage. Stir constantly until gravy thickens. Add salt and pepper (I like lots of pepper) to tate.
In non-stick skillet, lightly fry four eggs, leaving yoke whole.
To assemble, split biscuits. For each serving, top 1/2 of biscuit with 1 egg, one fourth of the sausage gravy, and one fourth of the cheddar cheese.
This is also delicious (though less attractive) with the biscuits broken up in individual serving bowls and everything else pour on top.
