Ingredients
1 cup chopped oniona couple of cloves of garlic, if you like it ;) I use 3 but I looove garlic1 T olive oil2 14 oz cans Italian style stewed tomatoes2 cans great northern beans3 cups chicken broth1 T dried parsley2 t dried basil.5 t black pepper4 oz. small shell pasta, cooked
Directions
Cook onion in oil until tender.
Add remaining ingredients (except pasta) in large pan.
Simmer for 10 minutes
Add pasta. Simmer for 10 minutes, uncovered.

Makes approximately five 2 cup servings

    This was good. I'm not an experienced cook, so didn't notice "canned" in front of the beans...had to stick it in the crock pot for a few hours to soften up the dried beans I used. - 12/19/08
