Apple Oatmeal Cookies

Ingredients
1/2 c light brown sugar1/2 c sugar3/4 c unsweetened applesauce1 c whole wheat flour1 t baking powder1 pinch salt1 c rolled oatscinnamon
Directions
1. Preheat oven to 375
2. Mix sugars and applesauce.
3. Add flour, baking powder and salt and mix well.
4. Add rolled oats.
5. Drop by founded teaspoons onto a lightly greased cookie sheet.
6. Sprinkle with cinamon
7. Bake 10-12 minutes.
8. Makes about 30 cookies if you add raisins.

    I added a handfull of raisins and crushed walnuts. Found the cookies a little too sweet. Next time I''ll cut back on the sugar, but otherwise very, very good! - 2/3/13
