German Pancake Syrup

Ingredients
1 c. butter2 c. sugar2 tbsp. light corn syrup3/4 c. skim milk1 tsp. baking soda2 tsp. vanilla
Directions
In a tall pan melt butter, or margarine, than add the sugar, milk and corn syrup. Bring to a boil stirring constantly. Boil 3 minutes, being careful...it will bubble up and could boil over. Add the baking soda and boil for another minute. Stir carefully. Syrup will bubble up even more. Add vanilla. Stir. Serve hot, it separates when cooling so stir well when serving and heating. I guess it makes about 20 serving of approx. 2 tbsp.
