Candy Cane Kiss Chocolate Cookies

36-48 Candy Cane Kisses1/4 cup smart balance 50/50 Butter blend softened3/4 cup Splenda1/3 cup + 1 tbsp splenda brown sugar blend packed1 tsp vanilla extract2 eggs1 tbsp skim milk2 1/4 cups flour1/3 cup cocoa1 tsp baking soda1/2 tsp salt4 oz applesauce
1. Remove wrappers from chocolate pieces. Heat oven to 350 degrees F.
2. Beat butter, splenda, splenda brown sugar, & vanilla in a large bowl until blended. Add eggs & milk; beat well.
3. Stir together flour, cocoa, baking soda, & salt; gradually add to butter mixture, beating until well blended. Shape into 1 inch balls. Place on ungreased cookie sheet.
4. Bake 10 to 11 minutes or until set. Gently press chocolate piece into center of each cookie; remove from cookie sheet to wire rack. Cool completely. About 3-4 dozen cookies.
