Christmas Turkey stew/soup

Ingredients
2 large parsnips,sliced3 medium carrots,sliced1 cups uncooked barley2 cloves garlic, finely chopped3 stalks celery, choppedat least 1 cup pieces of turkey0.5 cups gravy...or whatever you have left over2 cups chicken or turkey broth6 cups wateroreganoother spices to taste
Directions
Mix water and broth in a large pot.
Bring to boil then add raw barley.
Simmer 20 min.
Add gravy
Add root veggies and oregano, other spices
simmer a bit more, until veggies are no longer crunchy.
Add turkey and other rest of ingredients
Simmer until veggies are cooked to your taste.
