* *Potato, raw, 6 small (1-3/4" to 2-1/2" dia.) diced * Yellow Sweet Corn, Canned, 1 can (12 oz) yields * Yellow Sweet Corn, Canned, 1 can (12 oz) yields * Onions, raw, 1 cup, chopped diced * Milk, canned, evaporated, nonfat, 1 cup * Celery, raw, 3 stalk, large (11"-12" long) diced
put diced (peeled optional) potatos, corn with juice, diced onions, and diced celery into slow cooker. Add 2 chicken boulion cubes, salt and pepper, and add water to cover. cook on low for 8-9 hours. Add evaporated milk can and cook for 30 more minutes on low.

I think it makes about 9 cups total (about 170 calories per cup). I added a little more water in the beginning. My husband even liked it and he is very picky!! Oh - add salt :) - 1/11/09

yep...my hubby tasted it and added a bunch of salt...and then added some corn starch to thicken it up...
