Huligina's Green Chile Stew

Ingredients
1 lb lean ground beef2 cans ranch style beans4 cups diced potatoes1/2 medium onion10 or more whole Green chiles, diced (amount is personal preference)Salt, pepper and garlic powder to tasteWater, enough to cover meat and potatoes
Directions
Brown ground beef until cooked. Drain meat and remove all fat from pan. Return meat to pan and add potatoes, green chile, onion, salt, pepper and garlic powder. Add enough water to cover these ingredients. Cook until potatoes are almost done. Add beans and cook until thoroughly heated through. By this time the potatoes should be fully cooked.

Makes 9 servings, about 1 1/3 cups each.
