Wacky Mac & Cheese

Ingredients
8 oz Wacky Mac Veggie Sprials (or other pasta)3 cups skim milk3 cups cheese (mix & match your fave cheeses)1/4 cup butter2 TBS whole wheat flour (or reg flour if you wish)1 Sleeve Club Crackers1/8 tsp Allspice (or paprika)
Directions
Cook pasta as directed on packaging
In saucepan, melt butter and add flour, stir well
Add milk slowly, stirring constantly
Once milk mixture comes to a boil, add cheese and stir until well mixed and no lumps remain
Place pasta in a 9X9 pan (or similarly sized pan)
Add half cheese mix and half sleeve of crushed Club Crackers
Mix well
Pour remaining cheese mix over pasta, and sprinkle remaining crushed Club Crackers over dish. Sprinkle 1/8 tsp Allspice or Paprika over the top (to taste)
Bake at 350 F for 30 min

Makes approximately 8 servings

    My grandmothers mac and cheese recipe is the same minus the crackers, minus the baking and with elbow macaroni. This does sound awesome tasting though lol. I will definitely try making it one of these days. - 6/12/10
