COOK KASHI 6 WHOLE PILAF ACCORDING TO DIRECTIONS FOR ONE PACKAGE (EACH POUCH (3) WITHIN PACKAGE SERVES 4). WHEN DONE ADD WALNUTS, BROWN SUGAR, PUMPKIN SPICE AND MARGARINE TO ONE CUP OF PILAF, STIR AND ENJOY. A DASH OF MILK CAN ALSO BE ADDED. REFRIGERATE REMAINING PILAF.

    I made this today but omitted the butter. It was really good! I've already made it up for tomorrow but decreased the amount of walnuts to 3 Tbsp and increased the amount of b. sugar to 1 1/2 tsp (again omitting the butter). I'd like to try adding dried fruit too! Thanks for the recipe! - 4/13/14
