Jello Salad

Ingredients
1 6 oz. box Kraft Jello Gellatin (or two 3 oz.)1 cup reduced fat Sour Cream1 cup lowfat Cottage Cheese1 whole container Cool Whip Lite1-2 cups fresh fruit(I use strawberry jello with fresh or frozen strawberry slices. If you use orange jello add mandarin oranges.)Makes 6-8 one cup servings.
Directions
Let Cool Whip and Sour Cream sit out for a few mintues to soften. (Strawberries also if bought frozen). Mix whole container of Cool Whip with the Sour Cream and Cottage Cheese . Stir until well mixed. Open Jello package(s) and pour gellatin powder into the Cool Whip mixture. Stir until well mixed. Add fruit and mix again. Ready to serve.

    I thought this was very good but a bit sweet for my taste. I will try it again but will experiment and try to take some of the sweetness out like maybe only 3oz of the jello mix. - 1/19/09
