L.R. Baked egg puff

4 eggs2/3 cup whole wheat flour3/4 tsp. salt2/3 cup milk3-1/2 oz. turkey smoked sausage1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
In a medium size bowl, beat eggs well. Dump salt on the flour. Alternately add flour mixture and milk to the eggs while beating. Pour mixture into a 2 quart greased baking dish. Sprinkle cheddar evenly over eggs. Sprinkle on sausage. Bake at 400 for about 25 minutes. Makes 8 servings.

Mmmm, this sounds like a great way to stretch my eggs and maybe get family to try wheat flour..I would love to start using wheat flour but dont think family will go for it tho, well no knowing it that is.lol.I have a Q though..is there much of a diff in taste between the flours? I grind my own white wheat berries, so it isn't as dark as the whole wheat flour you would buy in the store. Fresh ground tastes a lot better than store bought as well. If your family is not used to whole wheat flour, start by using 1/4 or 1/3 whole wheat and increase as they get used to it.
