Spicy Black Beans and Corn

1 small onion, diced finely2 cloves garlic, diced finely1 Tbl Olive Oil1 15 oz can of Black Beans, not drained1 15 oz can of corn, drained6 Tbls El Pato Jalepeno Salsa, or other picante sauce2 tsp cumin1 tsp chili powder1/2 tsp sage1/2 tsp oreganosalt and pepper to taste
In a large frying pan, saute onion and garlic in olive oil until onions become translucent.
Add black beans, picante sauce, and spices. Cook uncovered at medium heat for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Stir in corn and cooked covered at medium heat for an additional 5 minutes.
Makes 4 1/2-cup servings
