Ingredients
2 C Flour1 tsp Baking Powder1/2 tsp Baking Soda1 tsp Salt1/2 C Shortening (Crisco)1 C Sugar in the Raw6 Large Eggs1 C Mashed Bananas (best very ripe)(option) Nuts
Directions
Cream (blend) 1/2 cup of shortening and 1 cup of sugar, add 6 large eggs (one at a time beating well), add sifted dry ingredients (2 cups of flour, 1 teaspoon of baking powder, 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda, and 1 teaspoon of salt), 1 cup of mashed bananas (nuts can be added if you want). Bake in oven for about an hour at 350 degrees.
