Breakfast Polenta for One

Ingredients
1 cup water 1/4 cup cornmeal 2 tbsp Thompson raisins1 tbsp maple syrup
Directions
In a medium saucepan over high heat, bring the water to a boil.
Slowly pour the cornmeal into the hot liquid, wisking constantly.
Lower the heat to cook the mixture at a gentle simmer.
Stir in the raisins and syrup.
Cook, stirring frequently, until the cornmeal is creamy, about 30 minutes.
